Punnagai Poove Tamil English Smiling Flower is a 2003 Tamil romantic drama film directed by D. Sabapathy of VIP and written by R. N. R. Manohar, director of Maasilamani, starring Nandhaa of Mounam Pesiyadhe fame, newcomer Rekha Vedavyas and Kaveri in lead and the likes of Vadivelu, Senthil and renowned music composer M. S. Viswanathan in other supporting roles, whilst Bollywood actress Sarika, exwife of Kamal Haasan, making a comeback to Tamil films afteryears, and music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, who scored the music for this film as well, make special cameo appearances in the film. The film, produced by Kalaippuli S. Thanu, released onApril 2003.
